ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU PAY AND LOOK IT OVER! SMALL GIRL BEHIND THE COUNTER IS A THEIF!!! Just ate breakfast at this place and when it came time to pay, the check was $42 for two people?? Breakfast is the cheapest meal of the day! Wouldn’t give a printed receipt at first so we could see what the charges were. The girl at the counter took it upon herself to add a tip of 18% on without asking!!!! HOW DARE YOU JUST ADD WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE AND DECIDE WHAT I SHOULD PAY OUT MY POCKET FOR SERVICE. DON’T PLAY WITH PEOPLE’S MONEY!!! THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO HAVE A TIP JAR???? Try to tell me that’s the tip for two people!! Never again to this place with this girl trying to steal people’s money. Maybe I woulda gave you $20 tip, now NOTHING!!!! We used to go here all the time and never again!

Came into restaurant had a seat.No one greeted me. Was really in the mood for a bacon egg and cheese.But so they had a platter with pancakes eggs, which was around eighteen dollars. Some female came in employee went straight up to her started taking her order even though I was sitting there for ten minutes.Waiting to get my order taken.He said, give me a second.I'll be right with you. I walked right out, went down the block to the business and spent less money. I understand you probably have some locals that come all the time.Still gives you no reason to skip someone that's been sitting down for ten minutes bad for business.

Nice local option. I'm not even sure of the name of this place as I believe ownership might have changed at some point or two. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'. I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business. Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience. I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by. Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming. Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. For locals of course, walking is the best option. I have been going to this location before and after the new owner took over. Milo the short order cook is the best. Also Jorge the owner is dedicated to his customer's needs. Jessica his counter person gets your coffee cup spot on every time.
